Looking forward to my first mens fashion week!

I’ve now been to about 2 fashion weeks and they have both been the September Women’s collections, I’ve never attended a fashion week outside of this season and I’ve never been to LFWM, I’ve been wanting to go to one for a while to see how it differs from the women’s!

I have a feeling it might be a bit more low key and “serious” but since this is my first time I’m not going to stress myself out with trying to find the perfect suit, ill just go as I am just to see how it is and to meet people!

It is also good for me to go because I am a male fashion blogger so it doesn’t make sense that I’ve never been to London Fashion Week Men’s

Hopefully over time people will start recognise me and I can start to wear my own pieces to these events!

Hope to see you there!!

Starting University

So I recently started University in September (the day after Fashion Week). I made the mistake of thinking since I was going to an “art only campus” that it would basically be like Hogwarts and it would be this magical creative space where everyone was just the friendliest most crazy people!

Unfortunately I forgot that not everyone who goes to an art school is necessarily an artists, people go to uni for all kinds of reasons and sometimes pick subjects they aren’t passionate about.

Even though it was slightly difficult at the beginning I’m slowly starting to realize my potential and I’m starting to figure out exactly what I want to do in this world! Even though its very much early days I’m happy with my choice of course and campus and I feel I can really thrive in this environment.

Even though there are like a hundred different people who don’t think much of me and want me to fail instead of letting this destroy me inside like it used to, I use this as an excuse to work harder and be more ambitious with my projects!

Even though I may not have many skills as of yet, I am hopeful for the future and I know that as long as I give it my all and work hard, I can do anything I want!

Fashion week…

So obviously I went to fashion week in September!! But I only went for two days (Saturday & Sunday) but it was suuuppperrr fun! Met a lot of amazing people and got to just slay the day away for the weekend.

For the first day I decided to keep it quite monochrome and simple, but I still wanted to make a statement so I wore a mesh white top and a wide brimmed fedora, just to tszuj things up a bit.

For the second day I wanted to dial it back since the first day was quite a strong “I have arrived” look I wanted to soften it and do light colours to contrast the previous day!

So I decided to just wear some distressed jeans, a white t-shirt and this denim jacket that me and my friend personalised (she done the embroidery) it was something really chill, but once people noticed the back of the jacket they loved it!

Overall it was a fun experience and I’m very happy that I went, I am hoping I can visit them with more frequency and make some more fashion friends!!

London Fashion Week is on its way…

So as many of you may know by now, London Fashion Week is literally this weekend!!

And with this knowledge brings exciting opportunities and days out!

I did attend the event for the first time last year, and it was nothing how I thought it would be, not even in the slightest, I thought it would be glamorous and peaceful, but once I arrived what I was met with was complete chaos, people running in front of cars to get a picture, everyone screaming and running around.

But even though things seemed ‘messy’ the people and the fashion were completely out of this world! And this is what inspired me to start my Instagram and my blog!

I loved how shameless and powerful everyone was just by being themselves and owning it, this is what I hope to emulate in my day to day life, making every corridor or sidewalk my own personal runway!

I’m planning to attend again this year, and this time I am prepared to dress OVER HONEY!! Hahahah this year, I have arrived TO SLAY BITCH!

Little sneak peak!

Hope to see you there!! Xo

Pretty in pink…

I love this simple tee from H&M it’s so casual and the “dusty pink” colour is so in right now! You literally see it everywhere!

I thought I would add some character to it by rolling up the sleeves slightly and pairing it with a pair of light ripped jeans!

I decided to add the red shoes and bag to tie it all in together and to add to the “dusty pink” shirt.

The “I see you” embroidery gives it a sense of mystery and gives the tee some emotion and a story…
